Kathleen M. Hoeger, MD, MPH
Kathleen M. Hoeger, MD, MPH is Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Chief of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology at the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY. Dr. Hoeger is a graduate of Stanford University (BS) and Jefferson Medical College (MD). She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and then completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at the University of Virginia. She joined the faculty at the University of Rochester Medical Center in 1995 and completed a Masters Degree in Public Health with an emphasis in Clinical Investigation . She was appointed Chief of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology in 2006. She has a research interest in the management of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. This work led to the establishment of the Women’s Lifestyle Center at the University of Rochester for which she currently serves as Director, focusing on nutrition, lifestyle change and medication in the management of PCOS. She serves on the United States Food and Drug Administration’s Advisory Board for Reproductive Health Drugs and maintains an active clinical practice in Reproductive Endocrinology.
