DESCRIPTION:
One patient’s journey from a cancer diagnosis, through fertility preservation, cancer treatment and advocacy resulting in Connecticut becoming the first state to mandate insurance coverage for fertility preservation. 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
At the end of this program, the participant should be able to:

  1. To understand oncofertility patients’ unique psychosocial issues and care beyond treatment
  2. To appreciate the vital role of subject-matter experts in policy advances to further reproductive access
  3. To understand the continuum of oncofertility care and coordination beyond fertility preservation
