DESCRIPTION AND LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
We will explore new findings about potential therapeutic applications of AMH/MIS in which control of ovarian folliculogenesis can protect ovaries during chemotherapy or allow better control of IVF cycles.
1. To contrast hormonal mechanisms of activation of dormant primordial follicles versus cyclic recruitment of growing follicles.
2. To understand how ovarian reserve management could be applied to the context of oncofertility.
3. To understand how modulation of folliculogenesis could be applied to the context of ovarian stimulation for IVF.
