Description of Presentation: A national trend to use statutes or constituinal amendments to establish that a fertilized egg is the legal and moral equivalent to a born child poses grave risks to reproductive medicine., endangering contraception, pregnancy termination and ART. Learning Objectives: At the end of this program, the participant should be able to: 1. Understand the history of “personhood” legislation 2. Appreciate the danger “personhood” legislation poses to reproductive medicine 3.
